Providing guests with memorable experiences is an important goal, but not the
only one that Discovery Cove strives to achieve. Discovery Cove is committed to
protecting and preserving wildlife and the environment the world over, and as a
sister park to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, contributes to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens
Conservation Fund.
For more than 40 years, the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks have initiated and
supported wildlife conservation, research and education efforts at home and
around the world. With the introduction of this private foundation fund, these
efforts have risen to unprecedented levels. Explore the site to learn more
about the fund's mission, projects and how you can get involved.

How Discovery Cove Helps:
Discovery Cove guests enjoy a
rare glimpse into the lives of endangered and exotic animals from around the
world. By combining elements of entertainment and education, these experiences
are as enriching as they are fun. The Discovery Cove experience allows
guests to get up close and personal with animals they wouldn’t normally see
everyday, and enables them to appreciate these animals when they see them in
their natural habitats.
Conservation Cabana – As you first enter the beach, guests
can dig in to explore the animal world by touching replica bones and teeth,
reading from resource books, searching on computer terminals about our animals,
animals in general and our conservation partners.
Outreach programs – Animal experts from Discovery Cove make
hundreds of community appearances each year to bring the exciting world of
animals to schools, science centers, hospitals and other venues. Curriculum
guides and other reference materials on wildlife and habitat preservation are
distributed free to teachers worldwide.
The Emmy award-winning show, Shamu TV, brings kid-friendly
conservation information from Discovery Cove to millions of viewers on cable TV
and in classrooms.
